Mobile Energy as a 100,000 euro donation in kind for flooded areas in NRW

ANSMANN AG supports flood disaster relief with extensive powerbank, flashlight and battery delivery

ANSMANN sends powerbanks and flashlights to disaster areas in NRW

(Main-Tauber Kreis, 26.07.2021) 6,200 powerbanks, 700 flashlights and 3,000 batteries were sent by the medium-sized family-owned company ANSMANN AG to North Rhine-Westphalia last week as an aid delivery for the affected flooded areas. The aid delivery to a central collection point in the flood crisis area in North Rhine-Westphalia from Assamstadt in Baden-Württemberg has a retail value of around 100,000 euros. The relief supplies were requested via the sports policy spokesman of the CDU in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament, Jens-Peter Nettekoven. His request was brought to the Assamstadt battery and accumulator technology experts by a business partner there.

The Ansmann flashlights, powerbanks and batteries are intended both for the relief workers and for those affected who are without electricity or have limited access. Electricity and access to electricity are severely compromised in flood crisis areas. Therefore, mobile power in the form of robust electronic devices and storage media is urgently needed.

"We are very pleased that, thanks to the initiative of MdL Jens-Peter Nettekoven, we are able to play our part in overcoming this indescribable flood disaster."
- Markus Fürst, Member of the Board of Management Ansmann AG
